The Penguin viewers are all calling for the same thing after episode one of the Batman spin-off was branded a 'masterpiece'.
After two years of waiting, HBO finally dropped Matt Reeves' limited series last week and it couldn't have been received any better.
Set in the same world as 2022 film The Batman, the show focuses on the rise of Oz Cobb, aka The Penguin, the notorious crime lord in Gotham City.

Colin Farrell reprises his role from the film, while the series itself delves into The Penguin's backstory, from a mid-level gangster to one of Gotham's most feared baddies.
The Penguin follows on from the fall of crime lord Carmine Falcone in The Batman, as Cristin Milioti plays his daughter Sofia Falcone. Rhenzy Feliz and Michael Kelly also star.
With the first episode giving us a glimpse into Oz's quest for control and power in Gotham City, viewers are already in love with the show.

Rotten Tomatoes have attributed the first showing with a 100 percent score, as one critic commented: "Realistic and violent, and delivering some excellent performances (Farrell is unrecognisable as always, but Milioti steals the show with a deranged and vengeful Sofia Falcone), The Penguin starts promisingly. Let it all come!"
Another added: "When you have a cast that understands the assignment takes a series that could just be yet another Gotham story and makes it into a strange, interesting look at a facet of the Batman universe that often gets pushed aside in favour of more flashy villainy."
Meanwhile, viewers have one small complaint, and it's that they have to wait another week for the second episode to come out.

"The Penguin is fire where the second episode at!!????" one viewer tweeted.
"I need second episode of The Penguin NOWWWW!!!" a second added.
"The Penguin pretty fire.. can’t wait for the second episode," penned a third.
As I'm sure you've noticed, Farrell has completely transformed himself for the role, but has explained why he opted to use a 'fat suit' instead of gaining a huge amount of weight.

"It took eight or nine people to do all the make-up, the hair and the teeth but it was so exciting to be a part of this team that brought the character to life. I loved it," he told Magazine+ in 2022.
"Years ago I probably would have, but not now. I had just done The North Water and for health reasons I didn't want to go from losing weight for that to gaining all the weight needed for Penguin.
"Also, I'm only in five or six scenes so I was really looking at what I felt I could do and realistically bring to the character."
