AI transforms The Simpsons characters into Hollywood actors and it’s incredibly unsetting

Have you ever wondered what The Simpsons characters would look like in AI?

Have you ever wondered what The Simpsons characters would look like if they were turned into Hollywood actors via artificial intelligence?

Well, ponder no longer because a live-action concept trailer has been created which imagines key roles with actors like Adam Sandler and Will Ferrell.

Thanks to artificial intelligence, we've been able to see Family Guy turned into a 1980s live action sitcom, what Harry Potter characters could look like now and even what the 'perfect' man and woman look like.

The Simpsons has been on our screens for as long as we can remember, with its first episode coming out in December 1989 on American broadcaster Fox.

Now, we can see what The Simpsons characters would look like as Hollywood actors, after Multiverse of AI shared a video on its YouTube page.

The clip re-imagines the characters in a live-action format, with some huge names taking on the roles.

It opens with the usual The Simpsons intro, with Homer - portrayed by Adam Sandler - explaining: "Hi there, I'm Homer Simpson. Welcome to our crazy little world.

"Let me introduce you to my family and friends and some of the other folk in Springfield.

"First up, there's my lovely wife Marge (Kristen Wiig). She's the glue that holds this family together, with her patience and love. And check out her hair, isn't it something?

"Next, we've got my boy, Bart (Jacob Tremblay). He's a little trouble maker, always getting into mischief, but deep down he's got a heart of gold.

"Then there's Lisa (McKenna Grace), our little genius, she's the smartest one in the family by a mile, always reading, always thinking and always trying to make the world a better place."

Homer then introduces Ned Flanders - played by Will Ferrell - Lenny (Simon Pegg) and Carl (Jordan Peele) as well as Mr Burns, who is portrayed in the trailer by Steve Buscemi.

Then there's bartender Moe, played by Ben Stiller, Barney (John C. Reilly), Millhouse (Gaten Matarazzo) and Chief Wiggum, played by Zach Galifianakis.

People have been loving the clip, with one commenting: "TAKE MY MONEY!! I think we should start a petition and make this a real movie!! It's what the world needs lol."

Another said: "Wow, that lineup couldn't have been more accurate. Please make it happen!"

And a third added: "This needs to be in production now!"

While someone else commented: "This casting for these characters is actually pretty great."

Meanwhile, another pointed out there'd need to be a pretty hefty budget to pay the all-star cast.
