The reason behind Tommy Fury's withdrawal from the I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! line-up has finally been revealed.
ITV's beloved reality TV series is back for the public to behold, with the likes of Tulisa, Coleen Rooney, GK Barry, Maura Higgins, Danny Jones and more taking their place in the jungle down under this year.
However, there was one big name that was part of rumoured I'm a Celeb... leaks prior to the official announcement of contestants earlier this month that pulled out last minute.
That name was none other than Tommy Fury.

The boxer was set to be one of the headline names on this season's show following his high-profile breakup with Molly-Mae Hague, for which he was accused of cheating, but after 'something better' came up, he chose to pursue that instead.
But what was that thing, exactly?
Many people speculated that it could be a long-awaited rematch in the ring against YouTuber KSI, though this never came to fruition.

Over the weekend, it was officially announced that Fury would be stepping into the boxing ring against ex-UFC fighter Darren Till at Manchester's Co-op Live on DAZN PPV on January 18, 2025.
It will be under KSI's boxing promotion company, Misfits, which helps to promote fights that celebrities, influencers and other non-traditional boxers want to take part in.
Speaking about the fight via The Mirror, Fury stated: “It feels great to, finally, say that I am back! I have been out of the ring far too long, I’ve been getting itchy knuckles, and so I am thrilled to be able to announce my return. This is extra special as I am the A-side and headlining a massive event in my hometown and in front of my fans, at Co-op Live."
The ex-Love Island star went on: “Till had a good UFC career but he’s stepping into the boxing ring now, against a proper pro, and he will quickly realise that he is out of his depth, and this is not the game for him. I plan on dealing with Till in conclusive fashion and then chasing even bigger fights in 2025.”

Fury has won all of 10 of the fights in his career, with his last two coming against influencers Jake Paul and KSI.
Announcing his return on Instagram, he simply wrote 'I'M BACK', with information about the fight.
His opponent, Till, has never boxed before, though the 31-year-old managed 18 wins from 24 MMA fights in his career, even being up for the UFC world welterweight title back in 2018.

He has since seen his career fade slightly, as he lost four of his next five after missing out on the title, leading to him leaving the UFC early in 2023.
