With the new series of The Traitors off with a bang this week, plenty of Brits are already absolutely hooked – even if we’ve only had two episodes so far.
Claudia Winkleman has already treated us to a few little twists, and the drama has unfolded pretty quickly.
Sitting from our sofas, we’ve wasted no time in coming up with theories or obsessing over where the contestants sleep at night.
And some The Traitors viewers have come up with a theory they reckon could expose a ‘big hole in the format’ if contestants knew about it.

It’s all to do with the breakfasts after a murder and who enters the fancy castle room at a certain point.
One X user speculated: “Sorry if this has been covered but on The Traitors surely if you always pay attention to the final 3 people coming in at breakfast, you’ll find most of the Faithfuls fairly fast? Because those three last people are the players the Traitors discussed killing & therefore can’t be it.”
It was then noted how in the first two episodes of the series so far, the final two or so people to enter the room where two of the three the Traitors had suggested they may murder.

“I have been thinking the same thing! Unless they film the entrances in a different order and then edit it together so it LOOKS that way to the audience??” one suggested before another pointed out it’s ‘always a big thing’ waiting for the final two.
Another said it’s a ‘smart observation’ and could be a ‘key clue’ in finding the Traitors.
However, this theory has been totally busted by a former Faithful who said the ‘Laithful’ (late Faithful) strategy is ‘categorically wrong’.
Ivan Brett from series one spends a lot of his time talking about the show on X, where he says it’s true to say it ‘tended to happen’, it ‘didn’t always’.

The ex-contestant pointed out that Amanda was the last to show up for breakfast in episode four and of course, she was a Traitor.
He added the same went for episode three of series two, when Traitor Ash was one of the last three to arrive and in episode five, Traitor Paul was the final breakfast arrival. It happened quite the number of times last series really, with it being ‘proportionally higher’ on the Traitors side.

“So if you'd tried the Laithful strategy in Season 2, we can all agree you'd have been barking up the wrong croissant. I think it's fair to say, this myth should be busted,” Brett concluded.
I mean, let’s be honest lads, this game is so unpredictable and thought-out, you’ve just got to be open to any possibility and, well, suspect everyone.
The Traitors airs tonight (3 January) at 9pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
