Following the success of Venom and its sequel Venom: Let There Be Carnage, star Tom Hardy has recently teased at the makings of a third film with an Instagram post flaunting the title page of the new screenplay.
The film series follows the anti-hero’s origin, with Eddie Brock accidentally merging with the crazed alien symbiote, Venom, as they try to invade the earth.
Incidentally killing the other symbiotes being experimented on, Venom remains the only surviving alien, making Brock a target by the individuals wanting to investigate the alien symbiotes.

Ultimately bonding, Brock and Venom set out to protect their city by murdering criminals in a storyline defying Marvel’s mostly dogooder hero plots.
Venom: Let There Be Carnage carried on the series as Venom spread to serial killer Cletus Kasady, resulting in the alien symbiote named Carnage, Venom’s archenemy.

The conclusion of the film alludes to Venom’s vision of different universes, with Brock being transported to the MCU.
Suggesting the makings of a trilogy, with Hardy now having confirmed the production being underway, fans have since been wondering: when, what, and who will be involved?
What Is The Venom 3 Release Date?
The release date for Venom 3, which is yet to have a public title, depends entirely on the progress of the script

Sony announced the production of the movie at CinemaCon 2022, and as Hardy was keen to share it, we can speculate that the screenplay may be near completion—if so, the new sequel could begin filming as early as next year, potentially coming to cinemas sometime in 2024.
With Sony’s prior release of Morbius and hints of a Madam Web on the way, it’s likely the Venom threequel will be spaced out so as not to overshadow their other Marvel comic titles.
Venom 3 Trailer
As it seems the final instalment of the Venom franchise has yet to start filming, therefore no trailer is currently available for fans to glimpse at their favourite anti-hero in new action.
Who Is The Villain Of Venom 3?
At the conclusion of Venom: Let There Be Carnage, Detective Mulligan’s eyes are seen to flash light blue; if the comics are anything to go by, a new alien symbiote named Toxin is likely to emerge as a villain in the third film.

The child of Carnage, Toxin is believed to be the dangerous combination of both Venom and Carnage before him. Andy Serkis has also made allusions to Toxin’s potential appearance in past interviews, however it remains unclear who the director of the new film is set to be.
As such it’s likely we’ll be seeing both Tom Hardy and Stephen Graham reprising their roles as Eddie/Venom and Detective Mulligan respectively in the future.
Hardy also mentioned in an interview with Esquire in late 2021 about whether inclusion of Marvel’s Spider-Man was likely to occur in the future: “Should both sides be willing, and it be beneficial to both sides, I don’t see why it couldn’t be. I hope and strongly, with both hands, push, eagerly, towards that potential, and would do anything to make that happen, within what’s right in business.”
If luck has it, Tom Holland, or an alternate universe Spider-Man, such as Andrew Garfield’s, may also appear in the newest film.
