For a period in the 1990s Jennifer Aniston had the coolest hair in Hollywood. Nay, the world.
She made 'The Rachel' famous, which was a voluminous, shoulder-length cropped 'do named after her character on Friends that had distinct layers and a hell of a lot of face framing.
Fast-forward to today and she's still at the forefront of style.

The Morning Show star shared a clip to social media to spruik her brand LolaVie's new intensive repair treatment.
The 54-year-old looked chic and casual in the snaps - as usual - with a few of her highlighted blonde tresses falling around her face.
But, while the Hollywood superstar sang the praises of her lotions and potions, a few eagle-eyed fans noticed something else going on.

There was an additional shade visible in her hair, in amongst the usual mix of ash, honey, and blonde locks.
It's a colour that starts with 'G'. Yep. Grey.
Shock. Horror. In the distance, sirens.
Going grey has become synonymous with age and decline (or so society tells us), but Aniston clearly isn't letting that get to her.

She sported a few silver strands, which won her more than a few fans in the process.
Social media users went ga-ga for her silver foxy locks and made it crystal clear in the comments.
One social media user praised her for growing older gracefully: "You look as gorgeous with your greys showing...You will always be loved!
Another added: "Love [to see you] let that silver shine."

While a third chipped in with: "You’re ageing greys-fully! Looks wonderful. Rocking that grey!"
Another person revealed that Aniston's choice to let her hair down (so to speak) had inspired her.
"Love the silver wisdom hairs peeking through," they said. "I'm the same age and thinking about letting mine peek too."
She's sparked a silver revolution.

It's a stark contrast to her preened 1990s persona of Rachel Green, who's bouncy cropped locks needed constant styling and attention.
Fiddly is out. Chilled is in.
She's told us all that with only the slip of a few silver strands.
But what she's really done is sent a signal to women everywhere that ageing is actually okay.
Some things never change though.
Aniston is still the epitome of cool... at any age.
