The Burger King employee who made headlines for running a store on her own for an entire shift has shared an emotional video after being sacked.
Nykia Hamilton, a mum-of-three, was the subject of a viral video which has been doing the rounds this summer.
A customer got their phone out to film the fast food worker holding down the fort at a Burger King branch in Columbia, South Carolina, all by herself.
"She’s doing everything she needs to do to make sure everybody is okay in here," the customer said in the TikTok video.

The 'Burger King mom', as she's been dubbed, told news channels that she works hard for her children, as she claimed that 'nobody wants to work no more'.
But following her heroics, the 25-year-old was sacked for being late, just days after going viral.

Nykia was heartbroken, previously claiming: "I’m already aggravated, I’m already depressed, all of this mental s***, and motherf****** f*****g with me, so leave me alone."
But on her own page, the mum posted a tearful video about her viral fame prior to her sacking, sharing how strongly she feels about her children with social media followers.

Thanking fans for their support, Nykia went on: "Everyday, the story's getting bigger and bigger. Like I said, I wasn't expecting to get recognised."
She explained that she's been working since 14, while being a single mother since she was just 17.
"Now that I'm 25, it's something that I'm used to, I gotta work, I gotta do. I don't want recognition, I don't want flowers, I don't want nobody to feel bad for me, I don't want sympathy," she insisted.

Nykia shared that she's got a criminal record but is looking to turn her life around, but 'everybody is not perfect'.
"I went to the video that went viral of me, I went to the comments, my son commented," she said before trying to fight back tears.
"He said, 'I know my mama love me', and I do," Nykia said while crying.

The mum went on: "I don't care if I break every bone in my body, I'm gonna make sure my kids got it so they would never have to go out in this world and ask nobody for nothing."
She highlighted that she wants her children to be 'independent young women and men', and said she would 'always be there' for them.
"Yes, I'm crying like a punk a** b***h, but like I said, for my kids, I'll always be a punk a** b***h," she concluded.

Nykia had previously thanked her general manager for the gig, having been given a chance despite her criminal record.

However, she would go on to claim days after this video: "[Burger King] fired me because I’ve been late because of my kids,
"My kids come first. Y’all don’t pay for no babysitter, or nothing."
The mother has since launched a GoFundMe, which has so far raised over $72,000 of its $90,000 target.
