An American fast food chain that makes customers sign a waiver if they want to eat a certain dish is coming to the UK and Ireland, with 60 locations planned.
You might never have heard of it, but the first location of 60 is supposed to be opening next year in London.
The fast food chain backed by celebrities such as Drake, Usher and Samuel L. Jackson has a particular gimmick with its food.

While it might be Dave's Hot Chicken, it's you and not Dave who gets to make those decisions regarding your meal.
As such the fast food joint offers seven stages of spiciness ranging from 'no spice' to 'reaper', and if you want to tackle that one you have to sign a waiver making it clear you're absolutely fine with the toll the dish will take on your body.
Like a certain other fried chicken fast food joint, they've got their own particular blend of herbs and spices but unlike that particular one there's some very challenging spices involved here.

The waiver, which appears on some of their receipts, makes people agree with the statement: "I acknowledge that eating the Reaper can cause me harm, including but not limited to bodily injury, property damage, emotional distress or even death."
It's also a challenge that's only available to people who are 18 or over, so maybe it's not a place to take the kids lest someone's order get mixed up.
Some people across the pond in the US who've tried the dish that requires a waiver have said it was 'pretty tasty and quite spicy for a chain restaurant', but was 'pretty mild' in comparison to other sauces with Reaper in it.
They suspected that the waiver was 'over the top', though another diner suggested it might be 'for the novelty' to stand out from the competition.

However, those who'd tried it agreed that if you really weren't into spicy food all that much then it'd probably have quite the impact on you.
Another added that the worst Dave's Hot Chicken had to offer wasn't quite in the same league as the 'atomic' sauce at Wing Stop.
It's still going to be a level of spice beyond the palette of most people who pop into a fast food place.

There are some folks who can barely stomach a McSpicy, so a bit of food with Reaper in it might actually put them out of action for a bit.
On the other hand that might be a good thing since you don't want your meal to do crippling damage to your digestive system.
