A bartender from Las Vegas has cracked open a can of honesty after sharing what customers actually get when they ask for less ice.
By working in the Fremont Street area of 'Sin City', you'd presume that Marti has plenty of customers walking through the door to order their favourite drinks.

While some will opt for a cocktail filled with ice, others don't want to drink something that 'turns into water' within seconds.
But when you actually ask for less ice, Marti says you won't be getting what you think.
Taking to her TikTok page (@martiii_soulll), she explained: "You come to the bar and you order a drink with light ice.
"Light ice does not mean more liquor. It just doesn't. It does not mean more liquor.

"It actually just means more juice. It could even just mean you don't get a full drink.
"And I understand people in like, Europe, UK, like specifically, they don't like a lot of ice in their drinks.
"That's fine. I don't have a problem with it. You're drinking. It's your drink.

"I want you to enjoy it. I want to make it how you like it.
"But I just want people to know that don't know less ice does not mean more liquor. Have a good day."
After some pretty useful insight, people in the comments section had some questions for the bartender.
"Am I weird? I dont like ice at all. How should I order a drink?" one asked.

"You aren’t weird at all, you like what you like. Just order your drink and ask for no ice if possible," she replied.
A second wondered: "I live in Vegas and I hate when the bartenders make the drinks so strong. What do we ask when we order?"

Marti responded: "Honestly not sure, maybe ask what the house pour is and if the drink can be in a bigger glass/cup so you get more mixer to make it not taste as strong."
Meanwhile, others in the comments revealed: "I just ask for my diet and wiskey in a bigger glass… prevents me from drinking it in 2.1 seconds."
Someone else penned: "I make the not full drink, but yes most people think it means more liquor people think tall has more liquor also!! I always ask if they want a double when they ask for tall."
