You might not have started today planning to have a McDonald's, but you probably didn't need much encouraging to give it a go.
If you do require that one little nudge in the right direction then we'd better tell you that today's the day a couple of menu items have become really cheap.

The price of a McMuffin has dropped to £1.19, while if you're in the mood for a toy with your food the Happy Meal is just one solitary quid.
While the price drop is nice it's only for a short while, and you also have to order your food on the My McDonald's app, so perhaps this is all just a ploy from McDonald's to get themselves onto your phone.
Then again, can you really complain when you can take advantage of cheap food deals to get a McMuffin for such a small cost?
The exact amount you'd save on each deal varies from place to place as not all McDonald's price their menus in the exact same way.

The deal is only good for one meal as well, so you can't just buy a mountain of McMuffins and call it a job well done.
There are also a number of McDonald's where the offer is not running, so make sure your nearest Maccies is actually offering the discount deal before you have to go in and pay full price for a Happy Meal.
McDonald's recently introduced a plethora of new meals onto their menu with some fresh items for you to consider, while you weave in and out of the small army of delivery drivers that pack out the fast food restaurants these days.

Now the bad news is that some bits of the menu have made way for the new stuff, so say goodbye to the Big Tasty, Big Tasty with Bacon, Mozzarella Dippers, Cadbury Flake Raspberry McFlurry, Cadbury Flake Chocolate McFlurry and Caramel Waffle Latte for now.
In return say hello to the McCrispy BBQ Smokehouse, the Philly Cheese Stack, the M&M's Halloween McFlurry, the Twix Toffee Apple McFlurry, Toffee Apple Pie, Toffee Apple Donut (sensing a theme here) and a nine piece McNugget Meal, which has been included by popular demand.
These new items will be on the McDonald's menu until 21 November, at which point the Halloween stuff will disappear and new things will come onto the menu.
For now though, you might want to get on the McDonald's app and take advantage of the chance to get a cheap McMuffin.
