Maccies for less. We're most certainly lovin' it.

And so is one TikToker who has shared a genius way to get more bang for your buck when at the fast food chain.

Saving the pennies in the modern age has never been more important as we come through a cost of living crisis that saw the cost of simply buying enough food to eat sky-rocket almost overnight.

And with those prices not coming back down despite inflation falling to more tolerable levels, we all have to save where we can.

That includes treating ourselves or getting a quick meal when the day runs away from you.

Enter McDonald's. And while other fast food options are available, its probably the one Brits go to more than any other.

Relatively affordable - there's even a new £3 meal coming out - compared to a full blow out takeaway, it tastes decent and does the job.

And with new, never-before-seen burgers also on the way, we're sure many will be heading back to the famous Golden Arches very soon.

Recent years have seen Maccies introduce ways to customise your meals, which has seen some people take advantage of the system.

Well, you can also do this to turn the pricing structure on its head.

We're talking more food and spending less money. It doesn't sound possible, but it is thanks to TikToker @ozzy_on_a_mission.

In a recent video, viewed almost two million times, he explains how to hack the chicken selects menu.

"Do you want more chicken for your money? Three chicken selects for £4.99," Ozzy says.

"Or you go to go big flavour wraps, go to wrap of the day.

"Item only [instead of meal], click customise. No bacon, no mayo, no lettuce, no tomato, no spinach, no wrap.

"So all you're getting is two chicken selects. Times it by two, add to order. So £3.98 and you're getting four chicken selects. So you're getting more for less."

Commenting, one TikTok user said: "£4.99 for three chicken goujons is outrageous."

Another said: "Definitely take the entire wrap, get even more for your money."

And a third said: "Just get the wrap and you get the selects and all the other stuff too."

The hack also works if you're after five chicken selects, which on their own cost £6.09. If you order three wrap of the days and remove everything but the chicken, the six pieces of chicken will cost you £5.97.

Ozzy replied saying he doesn't like the wraps. Clearly, this is a hack for those who are in a similar boat.

Either way, it's a surefire way not to spend too much when saving a quid here and there can go a long way.
