If you want your home to reek with the stench of Papa Johns garlic butter without having to order and eat a pizza beforehand then today might be your lucky day.
That's because, for reasons we cannot quite fathom, the takeaway pizza company has decided to offer up 'edible candle' with garlic butter flavour.
Papa Johns has launched a competition where customers can attempt to win one of these candles, which apparently you can melt and use as an extra supply of garlic butter.

Apparently today (19 April) is National Garlic Day, and this is a fact I'm just learning because of all the holidays celebrated throughout the year, National Garlic Day doesn't make a major impact in my life.
If you're someone who just can't do without garlic then this might be the competition for you, in which case we would like to advise you to stock up on some more conventional air fresheners for afterwards.
Anyhow, if you wish to partake in this then you just need to go on the Papa Johns website and either sign in with your account or register for one to enter the competition.

You need to sign up by midnight tonight (19 April) and you've got to be in either England, Scotland or Wales and aged 18 or over.
If all that's the case and you're also not a Papa Johns employee, work for any of the companies in their same group or an immediate family member of someone who fits that description then it could be you who wins a garlic butter candle.
Winners will be selected at random and those who've got one of these pungent candles will be announced on 22 April, otherwise known as this coming Monday.

This all sounds a bit crazy and Papa Johns has been on social media telling people who are struggling to believe it that this offer is 'as real as real gets'.
Sceptics have said that 'April Fools is long gone', but lots of others are just hoping it's actually a real deal.
"I don't know if I love or hate this, but I do know that I want one," one person said as they let their curiosity get the better of them.
Someone else begged 'please don't be a joke', while another said they'd 'buy a bunch' if they could.

It seems as though there's a market for garlic flavoured candles, I suppose it takes all kinds to make a world.
