A tourist who took a trip to Thailand was left unable to eat for days after tackling an insane food challenge that involved him devouring an entire pig.
Joel Hansen wanted to tick a trip to Thailand off his bucket list, and while there the 28-year-old undertook a 30,000 calorie challenge.
He had to eat his way through a 2.5ft long suckling pig, enough to feed someone for several days.

He was trying the challenge alongside YouTuber Yong, who appeared to be having a much more difficult time eating a whole pig than Hansen.
While Joel chomped his way to victory, Yong eventually had to tap out and 'call it quits' before making it all the way through eating an entire pig.
This ridiculous food challenge was hosted by the As You Wish restaurant in Bangkok, and involved scoffing about 5kg worth of meat in total.

Normally this suckling pig is meant to be served to a group of at least 15 people to share, but the restaurant has challenged diners to try and eat the entire thing in one go.
While we was able to eat £75 worth of pork within less than half an hour, Joel admitted that the experience left him considerably heavier and unable to eat for two days.
The man, from Toronto, Canada, said: "It was a bucket list trip, I've wanted to go to Thailand for a number of years.
"I thought the challenge of eating an entire pig was absolutely ridiculous. Believe it or not it's something that's been requested a plethora of times.

"People [on my YouTube channel] are always asking me to try and eat a whole pig.
"It's 100% the fattiest thing I've ever eaten in my life, and I eat fatty things for a living. I believe it's upwards of 30,000 calories. It's meant to feed a party of 15-20 people."
Joel may have conquered the challenge of eating an entire pig in just 23 minutes but he is definitely not going to be doing that again.

He said the meat was 'incredibly rich' and that 'your body only wants a couple of bites before it's tapping out'.
Joel admitted he felt 'regretful' once he'd eaten the entire pig, as despite being proud of his accomplishment the fact he 'just felt like absolute death' convinced him not to eat any more pigs in one sitting.
"I'm glad I did it but I would never do it again," was his verdict on eating an entire pig.
