Wetherspoons is making some big changes to its menus next month, and one dish could provide a bit of healthy competition to the much-loved Japanese restaurant chain, Wagamama.
Last month, the pub giant revealed that they've seen a surge in profits over the last year and is aiming to reach 1,000 sites across the UK.
Derren Nathan, head of equity research at Hargreaves Lansdown, said: “A lot of capacity has come out of the market and the hint that there might be potential of about 1,000 pubs compared to a current total of 814, could see the estate start to grow again.

“Location is key and recent openings include the Stargazer at the old Millenium Dome in Greenwich and the Star Light at Heathrow Airport."
Amid the eight-fold profits, the pub chain are rolling out a new-look menu from next month.
British food classics such as pie and mash or fish and chips will have some new neighbours, including a ramen noodle bowl, shawarma chicken wrap and three new breakfast items.

The ramen soup has similar ingredients to that of one you would typically find in Wagamama, and will consist of noodles, bean sprouts, shiitake mushroom, spring onion, pak choi, bamboo shoots, red onion, sliced chillies and coriander in a broth.
Customers can add a poached egg, or some chicken, for an extra charge.
Meanwhile, Wagamama offer almost 10 different ramens, including spicy pork szechuan, chicken gyoza ramen and chilly shrimp and kimchi ramen.

Wetherspoons will also offer a classic shawarma - spiced pulled chicken thigh, Middle Eastern spices, Naga chilli and garlic and herb sauces, tomato, onion, rocket, and fresh mint, in a 12-inch/10-inch wrap.
New breakfast items also include a fiesta Brunch, which contains a poached egg, toast, guacamole, pico de gallo, grilled halloumi-style cheese with mushroom salsa.
There's also going to be a fresh fruit and yogurt with apple, banana, blueberries, and strawberries alongside Greek-style yoghurt.

American-style pancakes are also coming to the pub chain, and the dish will consist of four pancakes, banana, strawberries, blueberries and maple-flavour syrup.
Dessert lovers are also in for a treat as - arguably the most iconic British sweet dish of all time - is back.
Sticky toffee pudding, with either ice cream or custard, will be available very soon.
