A woman has shared four very simple acts that men can do that women find irresistible.
Rather than earning six figures or going to the gym religiously, dating expert Jana Hocking reckons it's all about the little things.
She listed four basic acts men do that get her 'hot and bothered' in a piece for the New York Post.
Sharing his latest read

In a digitally-focused world where everyone talks about the latest Netflix binge or blockbuster movie at the cinema, a man sharing a book he's reading shows a different kind of depth.
It makes women go ooh-la-la because instead of spending his time doomscrolling through TikTok videos or pulling all-nighter gaming seshes, he's broadening his mind.
Jana recalled a man surprising her on a date by talking about a book he was reading.
She said: "The way he spoke about it with such enthusiasm made me want to whip out the ol’ library card hiding somewhere in my room and delve deep into one myself."
Cooking a meal

There's a reason why being a chef is viewed as an attractive career.
It also explains why FX's The Bear is so popular. Despite it being a great show, men who cook makes a woman thirsty, according to Jana.
It doesn't necessarily have to be gourmet, as it's the thought and effort that counts.
She said: "I’m talking about a man who rolls up his sleeves, gets his hands a little dirty and whips up a meal from scratch."

People like to be cared for and fussed over - cooking for someone is all of those things.
Walking on the road-side of the pavement
This might seem like such a minor detail - too small for people to recognise - but it's attractive to women.

Having a man between a woman and the road is a subtle sign of showing protection - which is a huge turn-on.
Jana said: "Let’s face it, a man making us feel protected is sexy as f**k."
Sharing fluffy pet pictures

Finally, guys who post cute photos of their pets on Instagram are leading the dating world.
There are enough photos of men flexing in the mirror or at the gym to go around. You lift, we get it!
So, it's a breath of fresh air to see a guy sharing snaps of his cute, fluffy companions.
Jana said: "I follow a guy on Instagram who adopted a kitten he found while walking home from the pub one night.
"His hilarious reels showing him caring for this ridiculously fluffy creature have left me parched."
The fluffier and less masculine the animals, the better!
