‘Kivin method’ is the new bedroom technique women are swearing by

Just one little tweak and you'll get 'more intense pleasure' in the bedroom

The last thing you might want to do in the heatwave is get even more hot and sweaty. But hey, we’re only humans…

And maybe while you are getting at it, you’re looking for a different way to spice things up, to make things even hotter so to speak.

Well, enter the ‘Kivin method’. A bedroom technique that’s so simple yet isn’t necessarily the go-to but is said to make things far more, well, successful shall we say.

Women are swearing by this, with most said to be reporting quicker, more intense orgasms when using it to give or receive pleasure.

It doesn’t require any kind of toys, anything along the lines of ‘sploshing’ or anything particularly kinky. I mean, it doesn’t even require much flexibility. All the Kivin method needs is a change of angle.

So, this one’s specifically for those of you performing cunnilingus, an act that would typically see you face on or kneeling down in front.

Or maybe you’re being sat on or doing the 69, but the Kivin method is so much simpler and supposedly, far more pleasurable.

Essentially, the giver is to be perpendicular to receiver, maybe even under a leg if you’re that way inclined.

The giver can just slide under that raised knee, aligning their mouth with the receiver’s vulva.

It’s said coming from this angle will allow easier access to other parts of the receiver’s genitals as well as even less neck strain.

“It can be pretty orgasmic for a lot of us,” one expert said on TikTok as another joked: “Milk that bad boy and she will sploosh.”

Clinical sexologist Stefani Goerlich added to Women’s Health: “The Kivin method positions the giver to access more of the vulva, clitoris, and perineum in a way that’s often far more comfortable.”

And certified sex therapist Mandi Long added: “Because of the sideways angle, people with vulvas can experience more intense pleasure and orgasm—with most reporting orgasm within 10 minutes, and some reporting orgasm in as little as two to three minutes.”

The Kivin method can apparently also be a little better who find the usual cunnilingus to be too intense as Goerlich claimed: “The shift in positioning can lighten [the impact on] the clitoris in a way that feels pleasurable without being overwhelming.”

And hey, if this doesn’t end up working, it’s not hard to just slide back into a usual position without losing much momentum.

Other wild bedroom trends

The Kivin method isn't the only bedroom trend that has caught the internet by surprise. Take a look at these...

Toothing

No, toothing isn't about your pearly whites. As reported by Reuters via ABC, it's 'a form of anonymous sex with strangers, usually on some form of transport or enclosed area such as a conference or training seminar'.

Shallowing

Shallowing involves light stimulation around the entrance of the vagina, rather than full penetration. It can be enjoyed solo and even has some health benefits, too.

Sploshing

Also known as the 'wet and messy' fetish, sploshing falls under the umbrella of sitophilia: the sexual arousal from food. It involves getting messy in the bedroom, though the trend isn't without its warnings.

Castlecore

Have you ever dreamed of prancing around medieval castles and fighting dragons? Well, the castlecore trend might just be for you - and you're not alone. In 2024, Lovehoney found an increase in customers experimenting with corsets and dildos inspired by fantasy creatures.
