Being cabin crew is among the most glamorous of professions, with flight attendants being the physical representation of the airline people fly with on a daily basis.
It's not uncommon for them to catch the eye of the people paying to fly to their destination of choice.
Given many will venture in to the realm of airport pints before jetting off, the Dutch courage can be in full flow with some passengers thinking it's time to flex their chat (or 'rizz', as this millennial is told it is now called).

But there's a time and place, according to one flight attendant taking to TikTok to voice her concerns over those deciding it's time to chat up cabin crew.
Tyra, who goes by the TikTok handle @wheelsupwithtyra, has been a flight attendant for six years.
But in a new video viewed more than 25,000 times, the Delta Air Lines employee captioned it: "If you see a cute flight attendant and want to start a conversation: please don’t."

It's not the first time cabin crew have issued advice on what life is like flying through the skies as a job, with one telling LADbible about exactly what happens when people try and join the mile high club. She also explained why airplane mode is necessary for your phone.
In the video, Tyra offers her to the point advice on how you should treat cabin crew if you fancy them. But for those keen on still 'shooting their shot', there is one way that gets her approval.
"Here's a little 101 tip on how not to hit on a flight attendant," Tyra says.
"Okay, do not hit on a flight attendant in flight... during flight, whatever.

"Do not do that because you are making it awkward."
She added: "And, you know what, the flight attendant just has to be nice to you.
"It's just a really uncomfortable situation and we do not like that."

But all hope is not lost for those looking for love at 40,000 feet.
Tyra says: "Okay, but if you want to shoot your shot then your best bet is just handing your number over to the flight attendant when you are getting off that plane.
"Then you're not making it awkward and you're leaving it up to the flight attendant whether or not she wants to text you."
I mean, it makes sense, no? There's probably little more awkward than asking a member of cabin crew out half an hour in to a six hour flight.

Replying, one TikTok user wrote: "I shoot my shot when I feel like it, I don't need your permission ever."
Responding, Tyra said: "It's just advice... but I'd say chances are higher if you're considerate of her work space and shoot your shot once you're leaving."
