An Australian commuter has unknowingly caused outrage online after the note written on his hand to remind himself to send a particular email went viral.
The anonymous traveler was spotted on a train in Sydney by radio host Emma Chow, who called out the man’s ‘gutless’ act alongside co-host Mike E on their show RnB Fridays.

The man wrote ‘send break up email’ on his hand and now people are calling him out for ending his relationship with his partner in that way.
Emma also opened up a discussion about the note on the man’s hand on TikTok, where some social media users slammed the ‘embarrassing’ note-to-self while others tried to support him.
“I had to take a video of this because I couldn't quite believe this guy had written this note on his hand,' she said during her radio show.

“Firstly how embarrassing. Secondly unbeknownst to her, this poor girl is going to get broken up with and it's just going to land in her Gmail and be like 'I don't want to be together anymore'."
Emma’s co-host Mike E defended the man by suggesting that since an email is typically longer than a messenger, he’d be able to list the reasons why he no longer wants to be with his partner.
“Say it to her face or say it on the phone at the very least. That is gutless, you cannot send an email to someone to break up with them.”

Comments were divided over whether the the reminder, with one comment stating: “The standard Thursday reminder for every male uni student who picked up the weekend before,”
Another TikTok user joked: “imagine the sign off... Live, laugh, I don't love you.”
But many people called out the man and expressed sympathy for his soon-to-be former partner. As one person quipped: "Needed to write it on his hand or his peanut brain would forget. Girl is better off mate."

Another user said: "Maybe there’s a reason he’s got to do it over email rather than in person."
While someone else added added: "This is the most heartless way to break up with someone."
A third complained: "You can’t judge him if you don’t know him."
Meanwhile, others tried to make excuses for the guy: "Could be organising a work break up," one commenter mused.
