Although you might presume couples who swap partners are carefree, most people who decide to start swinging have set some ground rules with their other half about where they draw the line.
And the same goes for those who hop on a so-called 'spicy' cruise to liaise with like-minded people that also fancy a sex-filled holiday while sailing the seven seas - especially when it comes to having some fun with fellow tourists.
One couple who enjoy heading on these bawdy breaks with Cancun-based company Temptation Cruises have already dished the dirt on what it's really like onboard, so most people have an idea of what they're in store for by now.

High school sweethearts Bella and Jase have let us all in on the secret codes couples use to covertly communicate their interest to one another, and we're already well versed in how to conduct yourself outside of the cabins.
But what about when you close your door - which is probably sporting an upside down pineapple - to shut yourself away for some private time with another pair, or perhaps you're making use of one of the 'playrooms' on the decks?
Well, even though it's something of a naughty voyage, you still have to be on your best behaviour - and these rules really aren't meant to be broken.

Let's take the Bliss Cruise company for example, who offer adult-only voyages for adventurous couples which visit exotic locations - for starters, you must be over 21 to get on the ship.
Now we've got that out of the way, let's swiftly move onto its 'Acceptable Behaviour Policy' which all passengers had to sign before sailing off into the sunset on the Celebrity Summit ship in April last year.
The firm says it came up with these regulations to 'protect their guests', particularly if they are swingers.
As well as the usual stipulations of cruise travel in a post-Covid world, Bliss Cruise also wants to make sure that even if the guests are all feeling randy, they still have the upmost respect for their fellow holidaymakers.

That's why the travel company explicitly stated its rules surrounding sexual activity onboard a spicy cruise.
However, Bliss Cruise still wants people to 'have as much fun as they possibly can', and say all of its rules are 'designed to make the experience of all as rewarding as possible' for everyone involved.
Respect
Bliss Cruise reminded travellers to always remember that 'No, means no'.

The rules state: "Anyone that doesn't understand this or is making unwanted advances could be subject to expulsion from the ship at the next port, without a refund."
And good riddance to them!
Nudity
Although spicy cruises allow passengers to behave a lot more freely than on a typical cruise, you still can't run around the ship naked and eat your dinner in your birthday suit.

During a voyage with Bliss Cruise, travellers are only allowed to be nude on designated outside decks, in playrooms or while visiting the sauna - but you must sit on a towel at all times, as it's 'just common courtesy'.
"Please note that you cannot go nude in any elevator; you must be covered," the rules also state, which is quite a fair point considering people could be using their bums to press the buttons to get to different decks.
However, those who wish to can go topless once they get inside one of the infamous discos.
Sexual activity
People may presume that spicy cruises are simply some kind of mass orgy on a vessel in the middle of the ocean, but that isn't exactly the case.
Couples can only have sex in the privacy of their cabin or in a designated play area onboard, with Bliss Cruise saying there are 'no exceptions' to this rule.
It continued: "Under no circumstances can you approach any of the shipboard staff for any reason to solicit any form of sexual activity. They are not permitted in your cabin either. They will lose their jobs.
"Guests violating any rule pertaining to sexual activity in forbidden places may be removed from the ship by its security team at the next port of call. No refunds will be issued."
Photography
Bliss Cruise warned that taking photos or videos of other passengers without permission is absolutely forbidden, adding that security reserve the right to seize your device to review the content if you are caught doing so.
The travel firm explained: "Inappropriate photos/video will be deleted at the discretion of the supervisor.
"Any photos/video taken on board the ship are for personal use only."
This means that any content shot during the cruise 'cannot be published, printed, made public on the internet, or used for any other purpose' without written approval from the company.
