Woman who works onboard 'spicy' cruises explains what it is really like on one

A woman who has worked on 'spicy' cruises has revealed what life on board is really like when the ships set sail on the open seas.

Spicy cruises are a unique type of cruise holiday. Strictly adults only, no children are allowed and video and photography is restricted in many places on board the ship due to what goes down.

Kate Shelor is a qualified pleasure coach and hypnotherapist based out of Las Vegas, USA. Well versed on all things spicy cruises, the OnlyFans model has ventured on to the cruise ships for work purposes on a number of occasions.

Taking to the open seas with Temptation cruises, Kate is brought on board for one specific reason and area of expertise.

What is a spicy cruise?

There are a number of spicy cruise companies operating across the world with most of them running the same kind of operation, with Kate having worked for one company, Temptation, on a number of occasions.

"They're adult only cruises and they do a buy out," Kate explains over on TikTok.

"This means this is a [normal] cruise line ship doing a route they usually take - but the entire ship is bought out for Temptation cruises.

"It is not a swingers cruise per se but there are definitely a lot of people in the lifestyle on the cruise. It is an adult only, open minded experience.

"There are parties, DJs, staff members who are party makers and getting everything going. There's themed nights, an hour every night at the bars for singles. So if you're single on the ship and want to meet couples, or a couple and want to meet singles, that's where you would congregate."

The red room

One place where swinging is allowed is a place on board called the red room.

There, the doors are manned by staff and no photos or videos are permitted inside.

Kate says: "It opens up late at night, there's no video or photos. Staff are there with water, towels and clean sheets.

"You can go in there as a couple and just hang out and get the vibes. Or you can go and have sex on the mattresses with your partner and no one else. Or... you can play with other people.

"That happens every night on the ship at 10pm."

Kate's job on a spicy cruise

Kate has been booked to work for Temptation as a qualified 'sexpert', to quote her own description of the role.

"They book people to teach workshops and seminars," she says.

"I do a guided erotic meditation; there was about 80 couples in the room and I teach them a little bit about the mind and hypnosis.

"And then I have them all close their eyes so they can really get in to it with their partner and I guide them through sex. It ends up being a room of about 80 couples just climaxing together. Crazy. It's really fun."

A mix of normal and unique

On board a spicy cruise you're likely to find many of the same experiences as a standard cruise holiday, such as port days and excursions that you can enjoy.

But there are other quirks that you will not find on a standard cruise. For one, the outdoor area is a topless area, with Kate saying 'a third to half' of women take this up.

Then there's the indoor pool area; a totally nude area for 'open minded adults having fun and different kinds of fun', she says. One of the other unique things you'll find is decorated doors; especially from those who have come on board to swing.

"People will decorate their doors... they will put their photos, their social media handles, notebooks with a pen or whiteboard, so you can leave them notes or meet up with them," Kate says.

"My neighbour had a sign and it said 'looking for a g*ngb*ng tonight', so people connect with each other on there which is interesting."
