It has its own airport with international flights to China, Hong Kong and Singapore, so if you're coming from further afield you'll most likely be looking at a stopover in one of these or Bangkok.
If you're hoping for a spot of sunbathing you may want to avoid monsoon season, which runs between July and October.
The cheapest time to book is May, so you'll be basking in the sun sooner than you thought.
See you there?
