Youtuber Lewis Buchan attended Parklife this year along with 80,000 other festival-goers in Manchester, but unlike them, he had his sights set on one artist in particular to pull off something that has never been done before.
In a Youtube video, Buchan outlined his master plan to get hold of an authentic American 50 cent coin, take it to one of the greatest rappers of all time, and have it become the only 50 cent coin ever to be signed by the one and only, 50 Cent…
We’d love to know where the inspiration behind this one came from, Lewis!

It’s acceptable to be wondering at this point, how on earth is it even possible to get anywhere near 50 Cent, let alone get him to sign a coin?
Well, this is where the master plan starts to take shape…

Lewis attended the festival with LADbible to interview some of the most adored online creators and with this backstage access, it was only a matter of time before he came across the man, the myth and the legend that is 50 Cent.
But how did he approach the situation in question?
Due to his entourage of security, it was pretty difficult to get anywhere near him.
That is, of course, unless you can make friends with one specific member of 50 Cent’s team.

Lewis found his saving grace, the answer to all of his prayers, and she goes by the name of Louise, who was the artist liaison for 50 Cent during the festival.
After many failed attempts to get the coin signed, Lewis was at the end of his tether until Louise recognised his best friend wearing an Everton FC shirt. It just so happens that she was also a fan!

Joking to his viewers, Lewis said that it could possibly be the “only good thing that’s ever come out of Everton Football Club'...we’re sure the fans aren’t going to enjoy that one!
Of course, Louise got the job done, and was able to get the coin signed, making it the only American 50 cent coin to be signed by 50 Cent himself.
Congratulations Lewis, we couldn’t be prouder!
