An airline is offering travellers flights to popular destinations in the US for less than £250, and you can put some of that spare change towards your return flight as well.
When it comes to flying some journeys are so cheap they seem to make a mockery out of other modes of transportation.
Plenty of people have managed to jet off to exotic destinations for cheaper than they could get a train somewhere else in the UK.

Not that there's no exotic destinations in the UK, even if Blackpool isn't quite what it used to be, but jetting off to the likes of Lanzarote and Milan for a bargain price is far more appealing.
Sometimes you can just snatch up ridiculously cheap flights, but that's not much use for the people who really need to plan ahead with their trips.
Hinging the family holiday on there being enough cheap, last minute seats available on your flight is probably not the best plan.

Besides, there are some journeys where getting incredibly inexpensive flights just isn't likely at all, and for that you've got to shop around.
If you're inclined to hop across the pond and get a taste of the US then you could do worse than give Norse Atlantic a go as they've got flights from London to New York that'll set you back less than £250.
Some of their flights cost as little as £239 and they've just announced a bunch of other destinations you can fly off to.
From summer 2023 onwards Norse will be adding direct flights from London Gatwick to Washington DC, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Boston to their offerings.

If you can't wait that long then you could always jet off to New York, Orlando and Miami, places which are not exactly notorious for having nothing to do.
Now, to be clear if you want to be sure your travel bill will go below £250 we are talking about a one-way trip here, so I hope you like somehow hitchhiking your way back across the world's second largest ocean.
Last year Norse were granted the right to run direct flights between the US and UK, so if you want to head off to the Big Apple on a budget and do, well, we'd be here all day if we listed the number of things to do in New York, then you can.

With major travel somewhat restricted in the last few years due to the pandemic this might be a good opportunity to fly across the Atlantic and go see the real America like you always promised yourself you would.
Just remember to make sure your passport is up to date, you don't want to go to all the trouble of booking a flight only to learn you're not allowed to leave the country.
