Aitch And Amelia Dimoldenberg Reveal Truth Behind Their ‘Relationship’

Aitch And Amelia Dimoldenberg Reveal Truth Behind Their ‘Relationship’

"Aitch and Amelia played everyone"

After months of speculation over Aitch and Amelia Dimoldenberg’s relationship, it looks like the pair have decided to just be ‘friends’.

Rumours that they were dating circulated on social media earlier this year when the Buss Down rapper shared a number of TikTok videos showing him on a date with a mystery woman.

Many fans theorised he was actually with the Chicken Shop Date creator, and they were right to assume.

At the end of his dating series, Aitch, real name Harrison Armstrong, shared a clip of the pair together last month, writing: “Yeah you guessed it, f*** off now.”

Despite the clip appearing to confirm the couple were together, the comments section was filled with apprehension about their intentions.

"Better not be for publicity," wrote one fan, with another saying: "U better not be playin."

Whether it was for show or not is yet to be seen, but in the latest video shared on Amelia’s TikTok account, the couple sat down to discuss their relationship status.

“I have something to tell you,” she says, to which Aitch replies: “I have something to tell you.”

They then quibble over who should go first, only for them to say in unison that they think they ‘should be friends’.

Amelia adds: “Yeah I think we’re better as friends,” before Aitch says: “I can’t sit back and watch you every other week go on a date with other rappers. And I know it’s not real but I just can’t do it.”

She responds: “I mean, I can’t stop doing that, I love to date,” adding: “You’re going on tour as well.”

They both agree that they’re ‘on the same page’ before revealing they’d both gotten each other a present.

Oddly enough, they each bought each other the exact same ‘best friends’ bracelet, appearing to show the whole interaction was staged.

Thousands of people have taken to the comments section, with many accusing the pair of faking the whole relationship in order to boost their online profiles.

“It was all for pr,” wrote one, to which Amelia replied: “It wasn’t.”

Another said: “I feel scammed,” while a third wrote: “I knew it was for pr but I'm still upset.”

Someone else shared the clip on Twitter alongside the caption: "Aitch and Amelia played everyone."

For those who aren't aware, Amelia’s Chicken Shop Date is a YouTube show where she sits in a chicken shop to have an awkward and sarcastic convo with a 'date'.

Popular stars such as Ed Sheeran, Louis Theroux, KSI, AJ Tracy and, of course, Aitch, have featured in the series so far.
