A good optical illusion can really mess with your head, deceiving your eyes and misleading your brain.
These illusions exploit how the brain processes colour, light and patterns to trick us into seeing an image that differs from what's actually in front of us.
One image shared to Reddit's r/FindtheSniper thread has left people completely baffled.

Below you'll find a picture of a wall, but camouflaged on it is a moth waiting to be found. See how long it takes you to spot it.
The image was shared alongside the caption: "Moth landed on my wall and vanished. Can you find the moth?"
But don't worry if you haven't. This one left a lot of Redditor's scratching their heads too.

One user wrote: "That's a wall!?" while another said: "I'm wigging out man."
But, another user who found the insect commented: "This one took me a little bit, this moth blended in really well with the wall, that's some great camouflage. This is a really good picture. I had fun finding the moth."
And the original posted admitted that they 'panicked' when it disappeared into the pebbledash.
"As somebody who is uncomfortable around moths, when it just disappeared before my eyes I panicked a little bit," they wrote.

Not having any luck? One user shared some easy-to-follow instructions. "Moth is in lower left quadrant," they said. "Starting at bottom left corner, go to the right about 25% of picture width and then go up 25% of picture height."
Another illusion shared to the thread involves a picture of a copperhead snake camouflaged in the woods.
"Find the copperhead," reads the caption, as the user explains: "Tossed this little guy out into the woods after I stumbled on him during some landscaping at the house.

"PSA: don't kill copperheads, they're just vibing. Politely relocate them; they appreciate not being turned into 'snake bites.'"
Many struggled to find the snake, with one person commenting: "Oh! There it– nope. Oh! It's th– nope. Honestly it's crazy how effective camouflage is."
Meanwhile, an experienced 'snake sniper' was able to locate the animal, revealing that the copperhead is in the 'bottom left-hand corner.'
"But you gotta keep your eyes sharp! He’s almost completely hidden!" they explained.

Others admitted that they had to zoom in to see it, writing: "Thank you ZOOM, if it wasn't for you, I wouldn't have been able to spot the snake. My actual eyes; take note."
