Fair play to the girl, because who wouldn't love to get to know the 'Crocodile Hunter' properly?

Megan Grass went viral on TikTok earlier this week when she shared a video of her asking Robert for his number.
Her request lead to the zookeeper stumbling out a flattered but awkward reply, trying to redirect her instead to his Instagram - slightly in vain.
Well, the brave TikToker has since spoken out about what's gone down since she asked Robert for his number.

On Thursday (16 June), Megan appeared on the Today show, revealing to Karl Stefanovic and Brooke Boney whether or not Robert has been in touch since she visited the zoo... Or whether he's actually replied to her after she slid into his Instagram DMs.
Despite Robert's sister Bindi having met her husband at the zoo, sadly, Megan and Robert's encounter appears to have the same happy ending.
Megan admitted: "Nothing much has happened other than it is blowing up on TikTok."
"[...] I was rejected in the sweetest way possible."

However, she added that really she'd just 'be down' to be 'Robert's friend'.
"I think he is literally the sweetest person ever. He is a great guy," she said.
When asked what she would want to tell Robert, she thanked him for being 'so sweet about it' and offered her services to hold a koala if ever he needs someone.

In the original video, Megan can be seen asking Robert for his number to which she's told by the zookeeper she'll likely get a better response if she contacts him via Instagram.
However, Robert's plan to politely decline the request of handing out his number failed miserably when Megan explained she had already slid into the zookeeper's DMs the day before to let him know in advance she would be visiting the zoo.
TikTokers flooded to the comments to joke that the zookeeper 'in the most polite way' definitely declined Megan's attempt to chat him up.
Although Megan still took to the platform to try and spur on the internet to help 'do [its] thing' and try and bring the pair together.

While Megan may not have found love as a result of her zoo visit, Robert's sister Bindi found her happy ever after with her husband Chandler Powell.
Powell visited the very same zoo in 2013 as a tourist from Florida and took part in a tour of the Sunshine Coast animal sanctuary.
The pair ended up getting married and now have a daughter.
