Police in the Netherlands made quite the arrest recently after picking up a man on suspicion of drink driving, as his ID told officers they'd nabbed none other than Boris Johnson.
A police spokesperson said that shortly after midnight on Sunday (31 April), officers had responded to a car crash where a vehicle had hit a pole near the Emma Bridge in the Dutch city of Groningen.
There was nobody in the car when police arrived, but they later found the person they suspected to be the driver standing on the nearby bridge.

He wouldn't tell officers who he was or submit to a breathalyser test and when his car was searched police found an ID bearing the name and picture of the former British prime minister.
Fortunately, the eagle-eyed officers were quite able to deduce that ID was fake for several reasons, not least because whatever else could be said about him, Boris Johnson isn't a 35-year-old man who obtained his driving licence in Ukraine.
Police shared a picture of the fake licence to Instagram, adding that they 'did not fall for his forgery' while they also said they believe that Johnson wasn't in the Netherlands at the time of the car crash.

There were a few other details which officers spotted about the fake ID which helped mark it out as a rather blatant forgery, including an expiry date of the year 3000.
Police said the man who was arrested had been from the town of Zuidhorn, which lies to the west of Groningen, and it is not known whether he is originally from Ukraine.
According to Kysia Hekster, NOS journalist and former Russian correspondent, these sorts of fake driving licences can be bought in tourist shops in Ukraine, and if you don't fancy buying a Boris Johnson one, you could always buy a fake Angela Merkel or Volodymyr Zelenskyy licence instead.

It's actually been quite a while since Boris Johnson resigned in disgrace after his time in Downing Street finally ended under the weight of scandal after scandal.
In the last few meaningful days of his time as prime minister he saw over 50 ministers quit his government in protest at his leadership following a scandal involving the MP Chris Pincher.
Since then the UK has had Liz Truss, who didn't manage to outlast a lettuce in her time as PM, before Johnson attempted to run for the Tory leadership again but failed to gather enough support.
After that, Rishi Sunak basically entered Downing Street by default while Johnson has sat on the backbenches.
