Five of Europe’s top clubs have joined Club Legacyz, the world’s newest memorabilia and collectibles brand.
Manchester City, Barcelona, PSG, Bayern Munich and Benfica have all joined Club Legacyz as the brand looks to disrupt the highly lucrative collectibles market, with further plans to launch in the memorabilia space later this year.
As part of the launch, Club Legacyz has revealed a series of limited-edition collectible posters and icons, the first of many unique products to roll out over the coming year.
The memorabilia and collectibles market is set to sore over the coming years, with the estimated market value expected to hit £180 billion by 2032.
Club Legacyz founder Balthazar Théobald-Brosseau said: “It’s been an ambition of ours for a very long time to launch an innovative product range and disrupt the memorabilia and collectibles market.
“Our initial launch focuses on the top football clubs in Europe and there will be more football club and player products launching in the coming months before broadening into wider sporting categories.
“Our long-term vision is to create the new generation of sports collectibles – tapping in to the incredible culture within sport.”
Behind the launch of Club Legacyz are leading figures from the world of sport who have backed the brand and see a significant opportunity in the market for disruption.
Former tennis coach of Serena Williams, Patrick Mouratoglou, who is one of the prestigious names to be involved with Club Legacyz said: “Sport is a truly powerful industry. Icons are created on courts, pitches, greens and live in the history books for ever.
“Taking those icons and expressing them through creativity and art in a truly unique manner will enable fans to see their heroes in a totally different way. That’s what excites me about the project and partnership with Club Legaczy"
The posters and icons have been designed with a unique identity for each club featuring leading players from each club including Erling Haaland from Manchester City, Kylian Mbappe for PSG, Jamal Musiala for Bayern Munich and Pedri for Barcelona.
