A set of conjoined twins have opened up about how one of them managed to meet her boyfriend.
Carmen and Lupita Andrade, 21, made the revelation during a YouTube Ask Me Anything, where the twins answered people's burning questions about their extraordinary lives.
They admitted at the start of the interview that 'most people' haven't met a set of conjoined twins before and said they are 'connected at the torso' and 'share a pelvis'.

They then stressed that they have 'two separate hearts' and 'don't share a brain'.
However, there are multiple parts of their bodies that are entwined including their digestive and reproductive systems.
But despite this, they said that 'their own sides are their own sides' when it comes to physical sensations.

On the subject of dating, the two girls couldn't be more different and Lupita said that she is 'asexual and aromantic'.
Carmen, meanwhile, revealed that she has been 'dating my current boyfriend for about a year and a half'.
She explained that the pair 'met off of Hinge' and she said it was 'really awkward' to reveal that she was a conjoined twin on her dating profile.
"I was obviously going to be transparent about everything," Carmen said. "It was a learning process for everybody. We obviously had to have a discussion on what boundaries are OK and what aren't."

She then implied that she and her boyfriend are not intimate sexually because of her situation as a conjoined twin.
"We're not intimate in that way, and he's OK with that," she said.
When asked if her sister was a good wingwoman, Carmen said that she wasn't, and Lupita chimed in: "I make fun of both of them."

The twins were then asked if marriage was a possibility in their future, and Carmen said that it's 'not really in the front of my mind' because she is only 21.
"Whoever I'm currently dating, or in the future might be dating, I'd prefer to be life partners than actual marriage," she said.
The pair went on to reveal that they've been 'fetishised' since a young age because they are conjoined and because of 'a lot people's idea of having sex with two people at once'.
The pair then stressed how inappropriate this was because it is incest.

While many people would consider the sister's condition a disability, they ultimately said that is is only 'a disability if you make it a disability'.
They explained: "We've just gotta keep going to spite everyone who thinks that we can't."
