OnlyFans model and Twitch streamer Amouranth has revealed why she shared footage of her being chased by masked men who attacked her before fleeing when she shot them with her own gun.
Amouranth, real name Kaitlyn Siragusa, is one of biggest names on OnlyFans with more than $25 million (£19.4 million) to her name from her online work. After being banned from the likes of Twitch due to her risqué content, she signed a deal with rival platform Kick where she still streams live to fans.
This week, she took to her account on X (formerly Twitter) to reveal she was 'being robbed at gunpoint' after masked men chased her in to her home.

"This is not a prank, help," she added in another post, later revealing that she was dragged out of bed at 10.30pm by criminals who had broken in to her Texas home.
They demanded the streamer let them access her Bitcoin account, where she's previously shared she has $20 million in cryptocurrency.
They attacked her, pistol whipping the 31-year-old adult star in a violent assault.

In CCTV footage shared by Amouranth, it shows them running in to the property - followed by running out after she managed to get her hands on a firearm and shoot at them.

"Three gun men," Amouranth posted on X (formerly Twitter).
"He screams 'I got shot I got shot' after.

"I’m not supposed to post the scene itself, nor the casing which are now evidence. They beat me before this video and pistol whipped me, the pummelling felt like it would never end and I protected my head by putting my arms up like I learned how to do in boxing.
"Blood was streaming down my head and my hands where beat brown.
"They brought duct tape and masks and were armed with handguns."
Some fans asked her why she took to social media first rather than call the police; a point she was more than happy to address revealing that she gets 'swatted' - where trolls call emergency services to her home under a false pretence - on a regular basis.

"I get swatted A LOT. If you don’t know the term look it up," Amouranth wrote.
"While you might call 911 and have responders en route within moments, mine tend to be half hour 'can we confirm it’s not another prank' dispatch holds."

She added: "I know this from experience sadly; it took 33 mins when a confirmed stalker actively tried to gain entry into my home. Tweeting ensures my many employees and fans see it and signal boost the legitimacy. I literally have people whose job it is to keep tabs on socials.

"Also, my security system already pings law enforcement when loud noises / broken glass is audibly heard."
Local news reported that Amouranth's husband was also in the property and had been waiting with a loaded gun before they fired on the intruders. Police are still investigating.
