As Storm Eunice continues to batter the UK, popular delivery services Deliveroo, Uber Eats and Just Eat have stopped allowing customers to place orders in some areas, saying things will be up and running only when it is 'safe' to do so.
Deliveroo says its delivery service is currently unavailable in London and the South East or Wales and areas of the South West, with a message on the app telling customers: "We'll be back delivering again when it is safe to do so."
It added: "In the interest of keeping riders safe, our service is not available at the moment due to a red weather warning."

A Deliveroo Spokesperson told LADbible: "In the interest of keeping riders safe, Deliveroo's service was unavailable between the hours of 10am - 3pm in London and the South East, as well as Wales and areas of the South West due to the red weather warning and adverse conditions.
"Since the weather warning has now moved to amber in these areas, we are resuming our services in these locations. We will monitor the situation closely as rider safety is our absolute priority."
While Uber Eats hasn't confirmed the areas that have been affected, a message on its app says: "For courier safety, our delivery service is currently unavailable due to a weather alert."
An Uber Eats spokesperson told LADbible: "Due to the severe weather conditions we temporarily paused the Uber Eats app in locations where a Red weather warning has been in place. We are beginning to open up locations where the weather warning has been downgraded and will continue to monitor the situation closely.”

Just Eat has also notified users that its service has been affected on social media, responding to concerns on Twitter.
It said in a tweet: "We immediately stopped delivery services in all affected areas this morning. We will not restart services until it is safe to do so."
Confirming the news, a Just Eat spokesperson told LADbible: "Courier safety is our number one priority and we have suspended our delivery services in all areas with red weather warnings. We are continuously monitoring the situation and will restart deliveries once it is safe to do so."

In areas where delivery has not been halted, Just Eat warned that service may still be affected, with a message telling users: "The current adverse weather conditions mean that deliveries might take a little longer than usual."
They also explained that the majority of restaurants on the Just Eat app are responsible for deliveries themselves, so they may independently decide to continue operating in the affected areas.
Storm Eunice has been wreaking havoc across the UK today, with some areas under a red weather warning.
The fierce gales in the capital even ripped off part of the O2 Arena’s roof, leaving the sheet that covers the venue blowing in the wind, while a church in Wells lost the tip of its spire.
