In a world-first, KFC is launching the fanciest of fast-food menus with an 11-course KFC Degustation restaurant.
The restaurant will be providing the fine dining experience over three days from April 1 to April 3, with the menu leaning on and evolving from the items we all know and love from the Colonel.

KFC has partnered with the owner of Sydney restaurant, nel., Nelly Robinson, to bring this incredible idea to life.
The menu will be an expansion on the authentic KFC menu items and ingredients. Guests are encouraged to have fun with their food and ditch the white tablecloth etiquette, with finger-licking still very much encouraged.
Items set to be a part of the experience include charcoal charred Supercharged Wings, a Twister Sister that takes the original and adds a dash of glitz with pearly barley risotto and sundried tomatoes, while there will also be the beloved Popcorn Chicken paired with celeriac soup, mushroom gnocchi and basil.
Literally drooling right now.

To really drive home the lavish nature of the degustation, one item will include the ‘La Di Da Drumstick’, which is an iconic Original Recipe drumstick dusted with quinoa and gold. Fried chicken fit for a king.
CMO of KFC Australia, Kristi Woolrych said: "We’re thrilled to be reinventing the idea of fine dining by bringing a fun and most importantly, delicious KFC Degustation to Sydney.
"We can’t wait to unveil the full 11-course menu we’ve created in partnership with degustation expert, Nelly Robinson, to show that our Kentucky Fried Chicken is worthy of a fine dining experience.
"Our fans will experience KFC in ways they could never have imagined as they are taken on a world-first culinary journey that looks and tastes uniquely KFC.

"For the menu, I’ve taken 11 KFC dishes and reimagined how the flavours and textures come to life using my expertise in degustation menus to truly blow fans away.

"So, we can’t wait to see their reactions to each of the devilishly good dishes."
Sittings will be held from 5.00pm to 8.30pm over the weekend commencing Friday 1 April, at a secret venue in Sydney’s Alexandria.
