Pizza lovers have been left reeling after finding out how many calories were in Domino’s garlic and herb dip.
For many of us, a Domino’s order isn’t really complete without a pot of dip for the crusts - however, plenty of people are not aware just how many calories are inside.
Admittedly, most people who order a takeaway aren’t too caught up on the number of calories they're about to consume, but some social media users have been left shocked after discovering just how many are inside the delicious dip.

The larger 100g pots have 675 calories, which is more than two McDonald’s cheeseburgers or two large slices of Domino’s Pepperoni Passion pizza on classic crust, according to the company's official nutritional information.
The smaller 25g pots have 169 calories, while the vegan version comes in slightly lower, with 116 per 25g pot - a 100g pot of the vegan version is not currently available.
Posting on Twitter, one Domino’s lover wrote: “A large garlic and herb dip from Domino’s has 675 calories in it. That’s actually a disgusting amount.”

Another said: “Devastated to discover the garlic and herb big dip pot from Domino’s is 675 calories... I drink that stuff man…”
But it hasn’t put fans of the dip off, with one commenting: “Even though I know there is over 600 calories in the garlic and herb dip in Domino’s does it stop me getting one and finishing it every time? Absolutely not.” Which, to be fair, is very much my attitude to the whole situation.
If you would like a lower calorie option, Domino’s has plenty of other dipping options. A 100g pot of its BBQ sauce has 188 calories, while 100g of Franks hot dip is just 24 calories.

The pizza chain recommends its large pots of dip be shared between four people.
In a statement to LADbible last year, a Domino's spokesperson said: "Our Garlic & Herb Big Dip is great for sharing with family and friends and serves four people. Single size pots are also available at 169 cals each. One serving of the dip, plus three slices of our delicious Vegi Sizzler pizza, which is less than 180 cals per slice, is just under 700 cals.
"We're committed to providing transparent nutritional information on our website, our app and on menus, to enable customers to keep making informed decisions about how they choose to enjoy our piping hot pizza."
