Former porn star Lisa Ann has made an unexpected request of Elon Musk: ban porn from Twitter.
Now that the richest man in the world is set to take over the social platform, the retired adult star wants Musk to ban porn or introduce age restrictions to protect children.
Lisa Ann, who stepped away from porn back in 2014, now works in broadcasting and reuploads content on OnlyFans.

Speaking on her Dudes Do Better podcast, she called for explicit content to be removed from the platform,
She said: "Yes, I did porn for many years of my life, and I’m not hiding my past as people tell me every day on social media when I’m wearing clothes.
"I’m just evolving, and we’re all allowed to evolve. So my disdain for porn on social media has nothing to do with porn, other than the fact that you are sharing it on platforms that have no age gate."

Lisa Ann was critical of the lack of policy, which differs from Instagram and allows adult content to be uploaded without any restrictions.
She added: "Twitter is the largest distributor of illegal content to minors in the world, something I really hope Elon Musk takes a step ahead and says, ‘we’re not doing this anymore’, and if we are, you’ll have to enter in your birthday, there will be an ID situation, there will be levels to this s***, that’s what I’m hoping for."
On Monday, 25 April, the Tesla CEO struck a whopping $44 billion (£33.3 billion) deal with the platform.

Promoting 'free speech', Musk said: "Free speech is the bedrock of a functioning democracy, and Twitter is the digital town square where matters vital to the future of humanity are debated.
"I also want to make Twitter better than ever by enhancing the product with new features, making the algorithms open source to increase trust, defeating the spam bots, and authenticating all humans.
"Twitter has tremendous potential – I look forward to working with the company and the community of users to unlock it."

Earlier this year, Musk became the largest shareholder in Twitter after taking a 9.2 percent stake in the company.
However, just this month, he went a step further and bid $54.20 per share to take full control.
Bret Taylor, Twitter's Independent Board Chair, has said: "The Twitter Board conducted a thoughtful and comprehensive process to assess Elon's proposal with a deliberate focus on value, certainty, and financing.
"The proposed transaction will deliver a substantial cash premium, and we believe it is the best path forward for Twitter's stockholders."
