Fans reckon Jake Paul is about to crossover to the world of MMA after he shared a clip practicing leg kicks at the gym. Watch below:
The 24-year-old was at Unbreakable Performance Center in West Hollywood, California and was giving the kick pad a good battering.
He captioned the post: "1st day training kicks.
"Doubted every step of the way...but kick down the doors of the doubters."
The YouTuber tagged Bellator and PFL in his post, which was a clear nudge to the UFC that he wants this to go through.
The video could also indicate a desire to take on Conor McGregor - after all, leg kicks like this were the reason the Irishman lost to Dustin Poirier last year.
Paul has previously boasted that he could better McGregor, telling The Sun: "First and foremost I'm a better athlete than McGregor.
"He never played football, he never played lacrosse, he never wrestled, he was never an All-State football player.
"I'm taller by four inches or so and I'm about 60 pounds, 50 pounds heavier without a weight cut.
"And that's what a lot of people don't understand when I'm hitting these guys - I've got knockout power because I'm cutting down from 210lbs."
Paul has also been verbally sparring with UFC President Dana White, who recently hit back at the YouTuber's constant jibes claiming he was a cocaine user.
White said: “I got a challenge for Jake Paul.
“This guy keeps saying that I’m a coke head. He can randomly cocaine test me for the next 10 years if I can randomly steroid test him for the next two.”
Since then, Jake has asked Dana if he would let him fight in UFC.
He wrote: "Dana last day to accept my offer…you are a good negotiator. In an effort to bridge the gap, I’m willing to reduce my ask to $40K min, 40% rev for first 5 years and long term health care. Deal?
"Or are you making another selfie video showing the world how much I’m in your head?"
Despite all the mind games, fans now think he is making the jump to MMA.
"AKE GOING TO UFC ?!" one user wrote.
A second added: "Jake Paul gonna make a mma debut."
Another commented: "Imagine he becomes a MMA fighter."
"Dis man ain’t playin now," a fourth wrote.
Another added: "Actually pretty nice technique good job Jake."
