A ghost hunter witnessed some of the ‘strongest activity’ he had ever recorded after claiming to capture a spirit telling him to ‘get out’.
Andy Pollard, known as the Yorkshire Ghost Guy, recently visited Kirkstall Abbey in Leeds, hoping to prove that there were ghosts trapped inside the chapel of the old monastery.
He came armed with a Safe Range EMF meter, or ‘K2 meter’, which is an electronic device that detects electromagnetic fields (EMF).

In footage, which Pollard posted on his YouTube feed, we see him speaking out to the potential spirits in the chapel – at which point the machine flashes a green light.
“I have never, ever, K2ed as strong as this – and as constant as this,” he says in shock.
“And there’s nothing in here, no cables, no electricity, nothing.
Andy repeatedly asks if the ‘ghost’ was okay with him being there, to which he receives further green lights on the K2 box.

He then asks the spirit to come and talk to him, claiming audio captures it telling him: “Get out.”
The voice then supposedly tells him: “We don’t like [inaudible].”
Speaking to LeedsLive about the unusual encounter, Pollard recalled how the ghostly responses at Kirkstall Abbey came in broad daylight, and were particularly strange as they started immediately.

He said: “I arrived mid afternoon so it was still light. It was my first visit to the Abbey and I wasn’t disappointed.
"After a brief walk around the grounds I began my investigation in the Chapel House. It was here that I was lucky enough to capture some of the strongest K2 responses I have ever recorded.
"Straight away the responses started and they were really strong, this is odd because a lot of the time on investigation I capture very little or no activity on the K2."

While the accuracy of K2 meters has been questioned, Pollard believes the readings on his were out of the ordinary, saying there was ‘nothing in the chapel house’ that could affect his readings.
"No wires or power source,” he continued
"I came away with a few odd EVP [audio clips] but not that many, I often find that on investigation it’s either one or the other, audio or visual.
“It would be good to investigate the abbey further at some stage because there’s definitely something or someone there."
