Two men were filmed attempting to pull someone off a tube carriage at Tottenham Court Road on Tuesday (30 August).
However, an unlikely hero came to the rescue as a 'grandma' took the matter into her own hands quite literally by pushing them off the train. Check out what happened here:
The incident was recorded by Twitter user @Avz_xv and posted to the platform after witnessing the fight.

It was captioned: "Grandma was not having it," followed by four consecutive laughing emojis, "I was too tired to laugh."
The two men attempted to pull the man off the carriage by grabbing his clothing.
The altercation blocked the doors to the platform so the tube could not leave the crowded central London station.

Both men were telling the third man in the tube carriage: "Come off the train."
The man pulling his jacket can also be heard threatening the passenger, saying "I'm going to smack you up."
Coming to a boiling point, the woman standing near them can be overheard shouting: "Will you get off the train?"
She then proceeds to shove them off the carriage, telling them to: "F*** off."

The video then ends with the two men echoing, 'shut up' to the woman and repeating 'I'm going to smack you up' to the man.
The video has amassed over 166.6K views, with over 5k likes and 620 retweets on Twitter, and many were eager to share their views on the matter.
Some voiced their concern for the woman in question.

However, the original account who posted the video assured viewers: "It’s true but I really don’t think she was bothered by the way she pushed them off."
Others flocked to show their support for the woman's bravery, with one user saying: "You go girl!! She's got no time for that sort of shenanigans, on her way shopping, thank you very much!!"
Some people, in a similar fashion to the 'grandma's' unfazed approach, simply could not be bothered in even dealing with the situation: "Central line is too hot for that rubbish. Please take it to the Hammersmith and City Line where there is air con."
One person claimed the two men had 'all bark and no bite' while another wrote: "All that talk and a grandma single-handedly pushed them off the train? Lmao."
