Cardiologists were asked about the one thing you should avoid doing at all costs, and they all had the same answer.
Health experts have all weighed in on the one big no-no for people if they're looking to maintain long-term heart health.
The foods to avoid to prevent heart disease have been highlighted in the past, with fast-food lovers made aware that too much of the stuff might 'poison' your body.

But if the most qualified minds in the world of science and health have highlighted the same thing to avoid in your life, surely you would, right?
In a TikTok video that has gone viral recently, a woman asks several health professionals about what thing 'they would never do, as a cardiologist'.
One said that she would never 'do any stimulant drugs', citing the examples of methamphetamine and cocaine as ones to avoid, as they are 'horrible' for the health of your heart.

Another cardiologist even said she 'would not drink alcohol' as the reality is that it can be detrimental to our health in the long-term.
However, the common agreed upon vice to avoid at all costs according to every cardiologist in the video was the big one: smoking.

A third health expert explained: "[I wouldn't] smoke, it's the worst thing you can possibly do for yourself, it's awful - it is the cause of some many problems, not only heart health, but general health."
Another cardiologist expanded on what constitutes as 'smoking', saying:
"[Smoking] really includes all forms of smoking.
"We often think of smoking traditionally as cigarettes, but that does include vaping, which is now a lot more popular and unfortunately, because a lot of these companies who pitched these products are so good at marketing and advertising, we sometimes forget that there might be some ills associated with that as well," he explained.

Just as the number of smokers started to decrease among the younger generations, the vape epidemic hit the world, and hit it hard.
Rishi Sunak announced earlier this year that the UK would look to ban disposable vapes across the country, while raising the smoking age every year, to ensure that the next generation of Brits would be smoke free.
Prime Minister Keir Starmer vowed to fulfil the latter promise, after winning the general election earlier this month.

Known as the Tobacco and Vapes Bill, it will mean that anyone born after 1 January 2009 will never be legally allowed to buy cigarettes, mirroring the actions of New Zealand in February this year.
