The British public are constantly bombarded with conflicting information about vapes, so a lot of people are basing their decisions about their health on hearsay and what their mate says - which is never a good idea.
I mean, if only there was a loveable radio host with a thick Lancashire accent and an e-cig habit who could get to the bottom of all this for us.
*Enter Jordan North*

The former I'm A Celebrity star, 34, is on a mission to wade through all the misinformation and marketing tricks to find out exactly what he is doing to his body by puffing on the plastic pipe filled with flavoured chemicals. Take a look at this:
As a vaper himself, he's the perfect man for the job when it comes to fronting a documentary for the BBC which investigates the electronic cigarette industry and whether the incessant 'negative news reports about them' are true.
A few years ago, Jordan turned to vaping to help him kick his smoking habit, as recommended by the NHS.

But the DJ hasn't been able to shake the worry surrounding the potential ramifications that satisfying his nicotine craving could have on him - and the rest of us - in the future.
So it's for his own benefit as much as it is for viewers, yet for some reason, I reckon people would much prefer to take advice from a bloke who counts Burnley's Turf Moor as his 'happy place', rather than Rishi Sunak.
But hey, each to your own.
The radio host, who recently ditched his Radio One gig to move to Capital to replace Roman Kemp, will sit down with vapers who are 'similarly confused about the impact' the habit could have on their health.

Jordan was keen to get both sides of the argument in his documentary, titled Jordan North: The Truth About Vaping, and also chats to a range of experts to get their take on the epidemic.
He also heads straight to the horse's mouth to find out how these contraptions even work and how they are made.
One of the most poignant parts of the short show is a discussion the TV star had with a woman named Jemma, who is the same age as him and believes that her decision to vape for the last decade has had serious consequences on her health.

Jordan shared a short trailer for his vape investigation doc on X ahead of it's debut on BBC Three tonight (20 March) at 9pm, but don't worry if you're busy, as it's also available on iPlayer too.
The DJ wrote: "I’ve done a doc about Vaping, never really done this sort of thing before, I promise it’s not preachy just wanted to find out more about it!"
Discussing his own vaping journey, Jordan explained that he had taken up the habit to help him 'cut back on cigarettes' after multiple failed attempts to stop smoking on his own.
He said: "I've tried so many times to quit and I found that switching to vapes really helped me cut down on my smoking.

"But then it was getting to the stage where I was vaping way more in a day than I was smoking the cigs, and I thought to myself, 'Am I just replacing one bad habit for another?’"
He said the turning point came for him when he started to 'hear some horror stories' about people who had suffered concerning health scares due to vaping and kept seeing things that made his 'stomach churn' online.
Jordan continued: "So I really wanted to get to the bottom of the effects of vaping on my health and what's actually inside these little plastic things we stick in our mouths.
"I have a few friends who have never smoked before but now vape and say they are addicted, that’s something that started to concern me too.
"I had no idea what was even inside the vapes I use, or whether it was bad for me. Making the documentary gave me the chance to speak to some interesting people and find all that out."
Jordan North: The Truth About Vaping airs on BBC Three at 9pm and is available on BBC iPlayer now.
