A man who got a penile implant decided to take to Reddit and sate everybody's collective curiosity about what it was like.
As it turned out, there were a lot of people curious to know what it felt like and how it worked in the bedroom, while others just wanted to know who the guy's favourite Ninja Turtle was.
Some people get penis enlargement and it's important to stress that this is not that, as the reasons behind this bloke's procedure were anything but cosmetic.

Why he had the penile implant
He explained that he'd 'been through prostate cancer' and suffered 'the loss of all erectile function', resulting in him having a penile implant that allows him to have sex for the first time in years.
He said he was 'damaged' and had 'lost 20 percent of my length' as he took to Reddit and invited those who were curious to ask pretty much any question they wanted of him.

The man said that the removal of his prostate had damaged the nerve bundle which controlled erections, so getting the implant would help remedy that.
What the implant actually is
"Two tubes placed in it, a ball pump in the sack, a reservoir in my belly," he said of the implant he'd received and how it all works.
Apparently, four pumps is enough to get him up and ready for action, but the man also explained that the head of his old chap didn't fill with blood and thus stayed soft during sex.

What recovery felt like
One of the most popular questions on Reddit was from a healthcare worker who wanted to know if there was any advice the bloke had on preparing others in similar situations for receiving the same treatment.
The man honestly admitted that the recovery from prostate cancer had been 'devastating', writing: "The man has his chi ripped out by a robot and then his best friend stops working.

"I didn't feel like a man. The pump had helped a lot. I was shocked at the position as a true boner sticks up. This sticks straight out. And it's never soft or small. It's never going to turtle again.
"I can't wear tight clothing, it's embarrassing to me. Be sure they get instruction to pump it up and leave it up quite a bit during recovery when the bruising can be tolerated. It helps regain a little length and girth."
He told someone else whose relative was going through the same that they 'will feel emasculated', but in his own experience since going through cancer he'd taken on a different attitude about life and 'what other people think about me is none of my business'.

How it works in the bedroom
In response to someone else's question about how it all works in the bedroom, he explained that he can 'last as long as she wants' and that recovering from having the penile implant inserted had been 'a breeze' compared to cancer.
Something else he said as part of another answer was that sex actually felt better now, and that he had 'much improved orgasms after prostate removal'.
He said there were 'longer, deeper' orgasms after his prostate surgery and that 'the girth is great'.
Also, his favourite of the Ninja Turtles is Raphael, which has nothing to do with the penile implant but someone asked it anyway.
