An influencer detailed the side effects she experienced after telling people to 'never take' the weight loss drug Mounjaro.
While the weight loss drug is now available on the NHS to certain patients, some people are purchasing it privately without a prescription.
For plenty of people, Mounjaro has been highly effective, with them losing a significant amount of weight over a steady timeline, just as the drug is intended to do.
Of course, no drug is without side effects, and people who've said they successfully lost weight on Mounjaro have opened up on some of the other things which have happened, including some rather positive life changes.

However, influencer Tana Mongeau told her podcast Cancelled with Tana Mongeau and Brooke Schofield that she'd lost 6lbs in just two days after taking the jab and claimed it left her 'crawling on the floor' and feeling like she was 'dying'.

Mongeau explained that she suffered from some major side effects, including a serious bout of nausea, which led her to take prescription anti-sickness medication Zofran daily to counteract it.
She added that she'd also been 'gripping the walls' and suffering some major issues with her bowels as she said their movements were 'not regular' sometimes and at other times 'too regular'.
The YouTuber also said she had been sleeping for up to 12 hours at a time and thought she might now have osteoporosis due to taking Mounjaro.

A loss in bone density and muscle mass is one of the potential side effects of weight loss drugs like Mounjaro, though Mongeau said she had been trying to use the jab as a 'quick fix'.
While some people have struggled with the side effects of Mounjaro, for others, it has triggered such a successful transformation that they've shed pretty much half their body weight.

One bloke who shed 14 stone thanks to the drug said his local Chinese takeaway called him up during his weight loss journey to check whether or not he was still alive because he hadn't come in for ages.
Speaking to LADbible on Tana Mongeau's claims, Mounjaro manufacturer Eli Lilly said the following: "Patient safety is Lilly’s top priority, and we take any reports regarding patient safety seriously.
