Sadly at many parties there's often someone intent on trying to make it all about them and spoiling things for everybody else.
This time it was a homophobic group bearing banners moaning about the 'LGBT agenda in schools' and quoting bible verses.
In a video taken of the incident the homophobic group of mostly elderly people are seen trying to wave their banners in the faces of the Pride procession.
One ends up getting into a tug of war over his banner with someone celebrating Pride and calls the police over to help, only for his group to be ushered back themselves.
The people marching by at Pride responded in the best possible way, by dancing and showing the middle finger as I Wanna Dance With Somebody blared in the background.

Heartstopper stars Joe Lock (Charlie Spring) and Sebastian Croft (Ben Hope) were seen in the video dancing in the face of hatred and repeatedly showing it the middle finger while Kit Connor (Nick Nelson) watched on and applauded.
Other cast members from Heartstopper were also spotted enjoying Pride, as Tobie Donovan (Isaac Henderson), Kizzy Edgell (Darcy Olsson), Corinna Brown (Tara Jones), Rhea Norwood (Imogen Heaney), and Jenny Walser (Tori Spring) were also dancing through the streets yesterday.
Many of them were later pictured giving each other piggyback rides through the streets of London during the Pride celebrations.

The homophobic group also met with condemnation from other parts of the Pride crowd, as plenty of others could be seen dancing and denouncing the party poopers.
This year saw the 50th anniversary of Pride in London and it's the first parade that's been put on in the capital since the coronavirus pandemic began more than two years ago.
It's a shame that some people felt the need to spoil the long overdue party but fortunately they didn't make much of an impact and got a face full of middle fingers for their efforts.
The cast of Heartstopper have plenty to dance about besides dunking on the homophobes, as their show has been renewed for two more seasons with filming for the second season due to start later this year.
