A group of housemates made a strange and unnerving discovery when they decided to venture into the attic of their rented home. You can see the full horror unfold in the video below. Be warned – it’s seriously creepy.
Up on the top floor of the Melbourne townhouse the gang rent, they found what appears to be the shrine of a stalker, complete with discarded clothes, faded photographs on the walls, and sealed bags containing used plasters, cigarette ends, and what seems to be human hair.

Honestly, if it wasn’t there for us all to see, you’d have to believe it was made-up for a horror film.
Speaking of their grim find, Matt Martin – whose girlfriend is one of the renters – told News.com.au: “It was really really scary stuff.
“Everyone in the house was pretty much terrified... There was some creepy stuff up there.”
He’s not wrong there, it’s absolutely horrifying.

So, what can we learn from this makeshift shrine?
Well, the film photos on the wall appear to be from the 1990s at some point, and show a football player and another bloke.
There were also some mystery liquids in bags attached to the wall, but it’s not even worth finding out what they were.

Mr Martin went on to say that they’d informed the estate agents, who had in turn told the landlord.
Apparently, the landlord was warned by builders who renovated the house that there was something strange up there, but they must have never been up to check.
Martin continued: “They said don’t worry about moving it.
“I don’t think they’ve actually seen all the stuff.”

He’s also contacted the police about what they’ve discovered after being told to by TikTok commenters: “We called the hotline and they pretty much just said if there’s no body parts don’t worry about it.
“I think one of us is going to have to do the dirty work and get it all down and throw it all out to make sure it’s all gone.”
Fair play, it’s a welcome bit of perspective that there are no body parts up there.

Naturally, the group are also going to have a big old clean of the whole house.
It was bought by the current landlords in 2016, and at the time it was advertised as hitting the market for the first time in generations, complete with a 1970s kitchen and family room.
So, perhaps we’ll never get to the bottom of this gruesome mystery.
Something ain’t right though, that’s for damn sure.
