Jennifer Aniston confirmed the death of her father, the late great John Aniston, aged 89.
The talented actor starred in Days of Our Lives and clearly passed on his acting chops to his daughter.
He sadly passed away today, 14 November, and is survived by his daughter and son, Alex.

She took to Instagram to announce his death, sharing a series of snaps of two together, with the caption: "Sweet papa… John Anthony Aniston. You were one of the most beautiful humans I ever knew. I am so grateful that you went soaring into the heavens in peace – and without pain. And on 11/11 no less! You always had perfect timing.
"That number will forever hold an even greater meaning for me now I’ll love you till the end of time. Don’t forget to visit."
People were quick to offer Jennifer their condolences, with Helena Christensen saying: "He looks so wonderful ❤️ sun h tender smiling eyes, sending you so much love."

Another fan shared a sweet interaction she had with the actor: "Oh Jen, I’m so sorry for your loss but so glad he lived ❤️ I sat next to him one time at a poker game in Los Angeles. I was such a fan of his work and shared with him how I watched his show religiously during my years at college.
"And when we were done chatting about soap operas, he looked at me and said are you familiar with my daughter? As a mother (now) myself - the pride in his face was radiating and I totally get it.

"He didn’t give away one personal detail about your life but he wanted to ensure I knew you were the real talent in the family. He was such a lovely man. God speed. X."
A third simply said: "I’m so sorry for the loss of your dear father. Sending love and light at this difficult time."
The Greek-American actor was born on 24 July, 1933.
He had a lengthy, accomplished career and was best known for playing Victor Kiriakis for three decades on the hit show since 1985.

John was incredibly proud of his kids and speaking to E!News in 1990, he said of Jennifer: "There are certain things you can learn in this business, and there are certain things you can’t learn. The comic instinct that she has in unerring. That’s her greatest asset."
