Johnny Knoxville has introduced the new members of the Jackass crew in anticipation of the long awaited fourth film. Check out the cast for Jackass Forever below:
Back in 2018, Knoxville told Entertainment Weekly that a fourth movie will be a huge possibility but the crew would have to 'bring in some new younger guys — just to bring some fresh blood into it'.
Well, that's exactly what's happened and the official synopsis for the film reads: "Celebrating the joy of being back together with your best friends and a perfectly executed shot to the dingdong, the original Jackass crew return for another round of hilarious, wildly absurd, and often dangerous displays of comedy with a little help from some exciting new cast.
"Johnny and the team push the envelope even further in Jackass Forever."
The old squad will be joined by Sean 'Poopies' McInerney, Zach Holmes, Eric Manaka, Jasper, and Rachel Wolfson.
Wolfson revealed: "They made me laugh so hard and I’m literally seeing childhood heroes of mine come to life.
"My mind is blown."
She added: "I love skating, and I love getting a bit hurt."
But don't worry, Knoxville, Steve-O, Chris Pontius, Dave England, Wee Man, Danger Ehren, and Preston Lacy will all be returning.
In the official trailer we see throwbacks from Jackass stunts of yesteryear, including the classic alligator-to-the-nipple prank inflicted on Knoxville in the original 2002 movie.
"When was the last time you got together with old friends to laugh your asses off?" captions say, before we hear those iconic words: "Hello, I'm Johnny Knoxville and welcome to Jackass!"
The action is suddenly brought slap-bang into the present-day as Knoxville is thrust out of a giant cannon while dressed as a bird - enjoying far more success than with previous lake jumps as he gains some serious air.
Chris Pontius then says: "A lot of people ask, 'What will Jackass be like once we're older?' Well, it'll get more mature."
Of course, the excerpts that follow prove that nothing could be further from the truth, as we see people being slapped into a swimming pool by giant hands, thrown into the air from a toilet, being bitten on the nose by a snake, and having baseballs directed at their unmentionables.
"Concussions aren't great, but as long as you have 'em before you're 40 or 50, it's cool... and Knoxville's 49, so we're good," Steve-O says as Knoxville is rammed by a bull.
Foul-mouthed OAP Irving Zisman also goes furniture shopping, and is tossed into the air from a giant cushion while concerned staff watch on in horror.
So it's safe to say, it's looking like Jackass Forever will certainly live up to its expectations!
The movie is set to be released this year on 4 February following delays due to the pandemic.
