Kate Moss is likely to take to the stand tomorrow (25 May), and is expected to draw on previous comments made by Amber Heard during the defamation trial.
There was much speculation around whether Moss would make an appearance at the defamation trial between Johnny Depp and Heard.
Depp is suing Heard over a 2018 op-ed that she wrote for The Washington Post in which she claimed to be 'a public figure representing domestic abuse'.

Now, as the trial enters its sixth and final week, Depp's team have called Moss to the stand, with a source confirming exclusively to the NY Post that Moss will appear in a video deposition.
Moss, who dated Depp in the 90s, is expected to comment on Heard's earlier testimony during the case.
Heard described an altercation between Depp and her sister Whitney Henriquez, in which she claimed her sister was 'in the line of fire' and 'trying to get Johnny to stop'.

During the incident, Heard said: "I just see my little sister with her back to the staircase and Johnny swings at her and I don't even wait," she said, adding: "In my head I just instantly think of Kate Moss and the stairs and I swung at him."
Heard went on to say that Depp did not push her sister down the stairs.
The 'Kate Moss and stairs' quote refers to a previous testimony from Heard in her defamation case against The Sun, in which she said: "He was about to push her down the stairs and the moment before that happened, I remembered information I had heard that he pushed a former girlfriend, I believe it was Kate Moss, down the stairs," as reported by the Independent.
However, the incident has never been confirmed, Depp denies it and upon mentioning Moss's name in court, Depp's legal team appeared to celebrate.

Legal experts had previously suggested that Heard using Moss's name gives them the opportunity to bring the supermodel into the trial.
Entertainment lawyer Mitra Ahouraian told the NY Post at the time of Heard's statement: “That’s one mistake that [Heard] made was bringing up Kate Moss, which potentially opened the door to [Depp’s team] bringing [Moss] on as an impeachment witness – and Moss saying, 'This never happened'."
Moss met Depp in 1994 and the pair dated until 1997, she has never spoken about any violence in their relationship.
