Katie Price could face up to five years in jail after receiving a harassment charge for texting her ex’s new partner.
The former glamour model has been accused of breaching a restraining order and is due to appear in court next month.
In January, police were called to Price's home in Sussex over claims she’d messaged her ex-husband Kieran Hayler and his fiancée Michelle Penticost.

This went against a restraining order handed to Price in 2019, forbidding her from contacting Penticost directly or indirectly following a foul-mouthed 'tirade of abuse' in front of children in the playground.
During the earlier hearing, the court heard how the former glamour model called Penticost a 'f***ing c***' after photos appeared in the media of her with one of Price's children.
However, earlier this year Price is alleged to have texted her 34-year-old ex, calling Penticost a ‘c***ing w***e piece of s***’ and a ‘gutter s**g’, the Daily Mail reports.

She was arrested on 21 January and spent 12 hours in a police cell.
Price is set to appear at Crawley Magistrates Court on 12 April for breaching the protective order, which comes with a maximum sentence of five years in custody.
A spokesperson for Sussex Police said: "On Friday, January 21, officers arrested a woman on suspicion of breaching a restraining order.

"Katie Price, 43, has since been charged with harassment — breach of a restraining order. She will appear at Crawley magistrates’ court on Tuesday, April 12."
The news arrives shortly after the reality star was handed a suspended sentence for drink driving.
Price was found to have drugs and alcohol in her system when she flipped her car on a country road in September 2021 while banned from driving.
A breath test showed that Price had an alcohol level of 66mg - the limit is 35mg - when she was arrested.

The 43-year-old had consumed cocaine and vodka and lemonade prior to the incident, police found.
At a hearing at Crawley Magistrates’ Court on 15 December, the judge handed her a 16-week prison sentence, suspended for 12 months, and ordered her to carry out 100 hours of unpaid community work.
Her driving ban was kept to two years and she was not ordered to take an extended driving test.

Although Price avoided jail under the conditions that she attended a rehab centre, the judge warned she could be sent to prison if she re-offended during her suspended sentence.
The My Crazy Life star recently shared a YouTube video touring her luxury hotel suite in Thailand, where she's enjoying a holiday with fiancé Carl Woods.
It is believed she will return to the UK this weekend.
