Katy Perry has posted a topless photo to Instagram after wishing Orlando Bloom a happy birthday.

The Firework singer posted the saucy set of photos, including one of her posing topless, just hours after posting the celebratory memoir to her fiancée and baby daddy.

The 37-year-old mum-of-one captioned the racy image: “let it burn baby #WIG” as she posed in a pair of black slacks next to a sign that read, “DO NOT HOSE DOWN”.

Taking no notice of the “thirst-trap” Perry just posted, her partner hilariously commented: “Babe plz can we get some more hazelnut milk we’re running low”.

Earlier that day, Perry posted a set of adorable images of her fiancée and her to commemorate his 45th birthday.

She wrote on the social media post: “Happiest 45th to the kindest, deepest, most soulful, sexy & strong man I know. thank you for being a constant compass, an unwavering anchor and bringing joi de vivre into every room you walk in. You are the love and light of my life. I thank my lucky stars for you and our darling dd [sic]”.

Katy Perry’s string of empowering body-confident posts on the site come as Bloom said he's not having enough sex following the birth of his daughter with Perry.

Bloom was recently interviewed by The Guardian as part of its weekly 'The Q&A' series, in which celebrities are asked a number of questions that cover everything from greatest loves to near-death experiences.

One question often posed to interviewees in the series is: "How often do you have sex?"

Bloom's response? Straight to the point, as he said: "Not enough - we just had a baby, though."
