Amber Heard's makeup artist has taken the stand to explain how she covered up bruises for the Aquaman star's appearance on The Late Late Show With James Corden.
Heard previously testified that she had facial injuries and a split lip from an altercation with Depp on December 15, 2015.
According to the timeline of events, Heard appeared on The Late Late Show with James Corden the next day.

Makeup artist Melanie Inglessis gave her account of the day and corroborated Heard's injury claims.
"When I came to the penthouse to do Amber's makeup, she had injuries," Inglessis said.
"She had two light - I'm not a medical expert - but it looked like somebody had head butted her lightly so she had discolouration here under both eyes and the bridge of the nose and she had what I would call a split lip or something on the lip like a gash or split lip."

Inglessis went on to explain how she worked to cover the injuries for Heard's Late Late Show appearance.
"I just did makeup, just a little heavier," she told the court via video link.
"We covered the discolouration or bruises with a slightly heavier concealer, one that had more of a peach undertone that I would normally not use on Amber, but peach does cancel blue, so I did that under the eyes."
She then discussed the split lip, adding: "Though Amber always has a red lip, it's one of her signature looks, I remember clearly talking we had no other option that night than to use a red blood, like, a really red lipstick to make sure we could cover up the injuries on the lip."

Depp's lawyers had previously grilled Heard over the appearance on The Late Late Show With James Corden, pointing out the actor did not appear to have any injuries during the taping.
Heard insisted that she did have a split lip on the show, however photos from the appearance did not show any visible signs of injury.
The $50 million ($AUD 70.4m, £40m) in a defamation suit against Heard continues.

Heard has counter-sued Depp for $100 million ($AUD 140.8m, £80m).
Depp's legal action came after Depp wrote an op-ed in 2018 for The Washington Post, which was headlined: "I spoke up against sexual violence - and faced our culture’s wrath. That has to change."
The trial was set to end on May 19, however, has been extended to May 27 as there is still a significant amount of evidence to be presented.
