The cause of death for actor and comedian Bob Saget has been released by his family.
Saget died suddenly in his hotel room while on tour in December, aged 65.
No drugs or alcohol were involved.
Instead, Saget had injured his head.
"The authorities have determined that Bob passed from head trauma," the statement said.
The family of the iconic comedian said they had been 'overwhelmed' by the outpouring of love from his fans.
"As we continue to mourn together, we ask everyone to remember the love and laughter that Bob brought to this world, and the lessons he taught us all - to be kind to everyone, to let the people you love know that you love them, and to face difficult times with hugs and laughter."
Previous speculation had suggested Saget may have died of complications from Covid-19, after he contracted the disease late last year.
His widow, Kelly Rizzo, however, had told Good Morning America that his dalliance with the disease 'was not anything serious', and that he'd been in good health prior to his untimely death.
"Now that we have the final conclusions from the authorities' investigation, we felt it only proper that the fans hear those conclusions directly from us," today's statement added.
